Collection: Pelikan

The origins of the Pelikan Company date back to 1838, with the production of colored inks and watercolors, but it was only in 1879 that the owner Günther Wagner registered the pelican as a trademark: it was his family coat of arms.
In 1929, the first transparent Pelikan fountain pen was launched, featuring a piston mechanism with a differential spindle gear.
In 1950, the first fountain pen with a green/black striped barrel was launched, which would become an unmistakable classic, as would the pelican-beak-shaped clip.
