The Power Filler system
The patented double-reservoir Power Filler filling system is one of the most distinctive features of the Homo Sapiens series. It works by atmospheric pressure: the nib is immersed in ink, the blind cap is unscrewed to create a vacuum, then it is screwed back in to draw ink.
The double reservoir utilizes both the barrel and an additional reserve. As a result, the ink capacity is much greater than any cartridge or converter system.
The bayonet closure
The bayonet closure is equally refined. Small internal notches in the cap interlock with the barrel with a brief rotation. This ensures a perfect alignment of the spiral curve when the pen is closed, with a pleasant feeling of lightness and security.
