The patented Power Filler double reservoir filling system is one of the most distinctive features of the Homo Sapiens series. It works by atmospheric pressure: the nib is immersed in ink, the blind cap is unscrewed to create a vacuum in the pen body, then it is screwed back in to draw ink into the double reservoir. The result is exceptional ink capacity, thanks to the double reservoir that utilizes both the body and an additional reserve — far superior to any cartridge or converter system.
The bayonet closure is equally refined: small internal notches in the cap fit perfectly into the barrel with a brief rotation, ensuring a perfect alignment of the spiral curve when the pen is closed and providing a pleasant sensation of lightness and security.
