History of the Kaweco Sport

Kaweco (Heidelberger Federhalterfabrik Koch, Weber & Co.) produced the first Sport in 1911 as a travel pen for officers and professionals. The compact design arose from the need for portability without sacrificing writing quality. Production continued until the 1970s, then resumed in 1995 while maintaining the original design. Consequently, today it is produced in Germany and represents an icon of 20th-century functional design.
