The Visconti Van Gogh Collection

This series is the second edition by Visconti dedicated to the great Dutch painter. The first, featuring a round section and available in three sizes, was made with natural resins and vegetable-based components: launched in the late 1990s, it was discontinued in 2008 after ten years of success.

The second series was born in 2011 with a renewed identity: a regular size suitable for every hand, streaked colors inspired by Van Gogh's brushstrokes, and above all, the 18-faceted shape on the barrel and cap, a feature never before realized in the world of fine pens. The magnetic closure was also introduced, simple and silent, which eliminates the risk of accidents typical of poorly tightened screw-cap pens.

Each model is inspired by a specific painting. The Visconti Van Gogh Starry Night captures the night and the stars of the world-famous painting The Starry Night by Vincent Van Gogh, with its deep blue base and flashes of yellow-orange light that run along the barrel and cap.

It is available as a fountain pen, a rollerball, and a ballpoint pen. The fountain pen is supplied with 2 nib sizes: the #6 personalized with the Van Gogh brand, or the standard Visconti #5 nib, both available in Fine, Medium, and Broad. Here it is offered with the #5 nib.
The barrel and cap in 18-faceted resin are finished with palladium-plated trims. It uses standard international cartridges or a converter (included). The weight is approximately 32g with the cap.
