The Lunga Vita (= Long Life) is an oversized fountain pen with a red resin cap and transparent barrel, graduated with red notches and numbers, reminiscent of a syringe, but which in reality are a nice "word counter" of the ink level.
The nib in the video is the V-Flex, a calligraphy nib with a larger cut and extremely flexible stroke. The V-Flex nib starts with a F/M stroke with light pressure, and progresses to a stub with just the pressure of your hand.

The cap is decorated with a clip-sculpture, representing the rod of Asclepius, god of medicine (Asclepius in Greek), represented by a snake coiled around a rod.
