Etruria is a Stipula classic, characterized by its soft, ovoid shape, inspired by Etruscan amphorae with stylized leaf decorations. Etruria Magnifica Miele Selvatico is an oversized, lightweight, and easy-to-handle version.
This artisanal Florentine fountain pen is crafted from Italian amber resin, hand-turned and brush-polished. The warm amber hue gradually reveals itself in all its hidden and exquisite depth. The metal details are lost-wax cast in bronze according to ancient Etruscan techniques and plated in 24-karat gold, with a Florentine goldsmith-style chiselled finish on the band and clip.
The three-way filling system offers maximum flexibility: standard international cartridge, plunger converter, or direct filling with a dropper for high ink capacity. A glass dropper, converter, and cartridge are included in the package.
Each nib and cartridge are individually tuned and tested for writing. The 14kt gold nibs are Stiflex, laminated and treated for high elasticity and tip flexibility, and are produced entirely in Florence using early-century Italian equipment.

Etruria Magnifica Wild Honey Design: Etruscan Inspiration
Etruria Magnifica Wild Honey evokes the austere beauty of Tuscany, an ancient Etruscan land. The soft, ovoid shape is inspired by Etruscan amphorae, with stylized leaf decorations reminiscent of Etruscan art. The balance of shapes, colors, and details embodies the history of this unique land.
The Magnifica size enhances the body of the pen and its overall dimensions, which are crucial for the correct grip of the fountain pen. The oversized dimensions offer comfort during prolonged writing sessions, maintaining lightness and manageability thanks to the Italian amber resin.
Handcrafted amber resin processing
The body and cap of the Etruria Magnifica Miele Selvatico are crafted from Italian amber resin , hand-turned and brush-polished. The warm hue features natural grain and depth that gradually reveal themselves in the light, with nuances that vary from piece to piece.
The amber resin guarantees lightness, resistance and a warm, luminous appearance that stands out from the other variants in the collection.
Metal details: lost-wax casting and Florentine chisel
The metal details of the Etruria Magnifica Miele Selvatico are cast in bronze using the lost-wax process, following ancient Etruscan techniques, a handcrafted technique that allows for complex and detailed forms. After casting, the details are plated in 24-karat gold to ensure durability and shine.
The central band and clip are chiselled in Florentine goldsmith style, with hand-engraved stylized leaf decorations. This craftsmanship makes each piece unique and harks back to the Tuscan goldsmith tradition.
Trivalent loading with dropper included
The fountain pen offers three filling systems:
- Cartridge : International standard cartridges (included in the package)
- Converter : Plunger converter for bottled inks (included)
- Direct Filling : Full-body filling with glass dropper (included) for high ink capacity
Direct filling with a dropper allows you to exploit the entire volume of the pen's body, ensuring greater autonomy compared to cartridges and converters. This flexibility is rare in artisanal fountain pens of this price range.
Stiflex steel and 14kt gold nibs
The pen is available with steel nibs (Fine, Medium, Stub 1.1, V-Flex, T-Flex) and 14kt gold nibs (EF, F, M, B, Stub 0.9, Stub 1.1).
The steel nib is available in F, M, and Stub 1.1; or in a single V-Flex nib , a calligraphic nib with a larger cut and extremely flexible stroke. The V-Flex nib starts from an F/M stroke with light pressure, moving to a stub with just the pressure of the hand.
The 14kt gold nibs are of the Stiflex type, laminated and treated for high elastic response and tip flexibility.
Stiflex nibs are produced entirely in Florence by Stipula master pen makers, using early-century Italian equipment. Each nib is individually fine-tuned and hand-tested, ensuring artisanal quality control for every piece.
