Nobile Italia is born from the talent of Italian craftsmen: it is the result of a unique product where contemporary creativity is inspired by a protagonist of the history of Italian flight and a glorious airship of the past.
The Nobile Italia pen is available in 4 colors. Aviation blue, chromed steel, satin and black.
The pen Nobile Italia is both a ballpen and a pencil, interchangeble just exchanging the refill inside.
The package includes 3 colored refills, a lead pencil refill, and an eraser.
Umberto Nobile
Umberto Nobile (1885–1978) was one of the protagonists of the history of flight. He designed airships around the world but owes his fame to his two flights across the North Pole: one from Norway in 1926, and the all-Italian one in 1928 aboard the airship Italia.
This last expedition ended dramatically: Italia crashed onto the ice floe and the survivors were rescued after forty-eight days spent in the legendary "Red Tent".
He was rehabilitated after the war, and recognized as a brilliant engineer, a skilled aviator, and a great explorer.
