The new Delta Indigenous People is dedicated to the Bajau, the legendary Sea Nomads; a nomadic tribe from Southeast Asia that lives in symbiosis with the ocean, between the Philippines, Indonesia, and Malaysia.
The Delta Bajau is made of Jonathan Brooks resin, shiny and always different from one pen to another, with vibrant shades of sea green. Every detail tells the peculiar identity of this people; from the clip representing the traditional Bajau house-boat, to the central band that echoes the embroidery of ceremonial clothing, to the nib which is decorated with the traditional female headdress, both in 14Kt gold and steel versions.

Delta Bajau Indigenous People: technical features
The Delta Bajau Indigenous People is a large format Delta fountain pen, designed for those looking for a designer pen with a narrative soul. The Jonathan Brooks resin body is handcrafted, which makes each piece unique in terms of grain and chromatic intensity.
The piston filling system guarantees high ink capacity, ideal for prolonged writing sessions. As per the tradition of the Indigenous People series, the nib is available in 14Kt gold in EF, F, M, B, and Stub 1.1 sizes.
For the first time, however, the Bajau also offers a steel nib in EF, F, M, B, Stub 1.1, and Stub 1.5 sizes: the exact same pen, the same numbered limited edition, with the possibility of keeping costs down by choosing a steel nib without sacrificing anything.
The Delta Bajau is also available in a rollerball version. The edition is limited to 388 numbered pieces for the fountain pen (the serial number is shared between the steel nib and gold nib versions) and 388 numbered pieces for the rollerball.
The Delta Bajau is available with a 14Kt gold nib in EF, F, M, B, and Stub 1.1 sizes, or with a stainless steel nib in EF, F, M, B, Stub 1.1, and Stub 1.5 sizes. This is the first time an Indigenous People pen has also been offered with a steel nib.

The clip
The Bajau clip features the Lepa, the traditional house-boat of the Bajau people, on which they live and travel, primarily engaging in freediving fishing. Thanks to a genetic adaptation that results in a spleen 50% larger, the Bajau can stay underwater for 5 minutes at a depth of up to 70 meters.
Even today, many Bajau preserve their traditions and their sea-bound way of life in harmony with nature, resisting the pressures of modernity.
Indigenous People
From 2003 to 2015, Delta released 15 different collections in the Indigenous People series, each dedicated to an indigenous population of the world, its customs and traditions.
A very successful series, resumed in 2024 with the Sentinelese, in 2025 with the Simbu, and joined by the Bajau in 2026.
