Collection: Platinum

Platinum's motto has always been "There is no success without effort"; ever since, a century ago, its founder Shunichi Nakata arrived in Tokyo from the countryside to manufacture his pens. Shunichi was also a pioneer of catalog sales, achieving great success as early as the 1920s.

Platinum fountain pens are known for their careful construction and original technical solutions, such as the Slip&Seal mechanism that prevents ink from drying out. The flagship model of the collection is the Century 3776, with a 14Kt gold nib: the number 3776 refers to the height of Mount Fuji, a symbol of Japan.
