The body is crafted from precision-machined aluminum and is available in Space Black, Starlight Silver, Neptune Blue, and Mars Magma.

No batteries or electronic components are required: the levitation is generated solely by the balance between the magnets in the pen and those in the zinc alloy base. A design object perfect for modern desks, creative workspaces, or as a high-impact gift.

<details>

Read more ▷

Pininfarina design and magnetic levitation of the Novium Hoverpen

The Hoverpen Interstellar was born from a collaboration with Pininfarina, the historic Italian design house. The 23.5° angle at which the pen remains suspended reflects the tilt of the Earth's axis relative to its orbital plane. It's a detail that combines cosmic aesthetics with engineering precision, through purely magnetic balancing that requires no moving parts or electrical power.

The pen body measures approximately 143.5 mm in length and 10 mm in diameter, with a weight of about 20 g. The zinc alloy magnetic base measures approximately 88x76x45 mm and weighs about 215 g, ensuring the stability needed to keep the pen in flight.

Refills and packaging

The pen uses Schmidt D1 cartridges, the international standard for ballpoint refills.
