Visconti produced its first Limited Edition collection during 1990, when the company found a small supply of old celluloid (ca. 1930's).


Visconti believes that a limited edition should truly be limited, and has committed that no limited edition pen will exceed 1,000 pieces.

For some series, realized with ancient materials, Visconti couldn't produce all the pieces. Because of this, those pens are even more precious.

1993 Uffizi Limited Edition
In 1993 the Uffizi Museum, the oldest museum in the world, was bombed by terrorists, creating substantial damage to priceless works of art. Visconti produced a limited edition of fountain pens, and all of Visconti's profits have been donated towards the Museum's restoration.
